Child abuse, neglect and abandonment are serious and widespread issues occurring all across the United States. Please join us on our mission by choosing to make a difference in the life of a foster child.
On June 25, 2011, two sisters, Lori and Holly Chapin, walked the coast of Oregon to raise awareness and funds for two affiliates of the National Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Association: Voices for Children in San Diego County, California and Essex County CASA in New Jersey.

ABOUT VOICES FOR CHILDREN
Voices for Children transforms the lives of abused children in San Diego County by providing them with volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs).
Voices for Children believes that every child deserves a safe and permanent home, and to that end, will provide a CASA to every child in the foster care system who needs one, monitor every court file in the system, and advocate to improve the lives of San Diego County's foster children.
As an organization, we ...
... believe that every child in Juvenile Dependency Court proceedings should have a volunteer advocating for their best interests and providing vital information to judges;
...provide the highest-level training and continuing education for volunteers;
...annually review and monitor the case files of every child in foster care in San Diego County;
...increase public awareness about the foster care system; and
...advocate for legal policies and practices that enhance the quality of life for foster children.
